Dear students, are you looking to enter a Junior College (JC) after your O Level examinations? Here is the JC cut off points for 2021 for Arts & Science/ IB stream.
The above point system is calculated based on L1R5 system.
L1 refers to your first language which is English or Higher Mother Tongue.
R5 refers to your 5 best scoring subjects. However, to enter a JC, your R5 must consist of at least 1 Math subject, 1 Humanities and 1 Science subject.
Students who took less than 6 eligible subjects or fail to meet the minimum cut off point will not be eligible to enter a JC.
And that’s all for today! Math Lobby hopes that with this information, parents and students would be clearer on the minimum requirements to enter a JC.
For students who are looking to enter a JC but have yet to take the O Level examinations, aim for the JC you want to enter and work hard towards your goal.
As always: Work hard, stay motivated and we wish all students a successful and enjoyable journey with Math Lobby!
